Default Any suggestions for a battery power supply for the Firewire 1814 or similar

I would like to run my firewire interface from a battery
so that I can reduce the amount of noise
generated via the switch mode power supply.

And also how long do they last before they need to be recharged

    Thank you in advance

P.s I solved the ground loops, balanced cables all the way etc, etc, etc.

I dont think the 1814 has is a big power draw, but I dont have numbers for you. I think what you want to do is going to get pretty pricey, a good UPS with a large capacity battery isn't going to be cheap.

If you're not talking about using a UPS and just mean directly off a battery, I wouldn't recommend it, and have no idea what problems you'd run into.
