Sample rate issue while playing FLAC files
Hey all,
I'm using a Delta Audiophile 192 soundcard in my HTPC.
The coaxial SPDIF/Out of the soundcard is hooked up to my external DAC which is a Audiomat 24/96.
I'm using Foobar with the WASAPI component to play hi-res FLAC files ('bit-perfect').
When I first bought and installed this Audiophile 192 card, everything worked fine. I updated the drivers a while ago (when upgrading to Win 7 I think) and I do have an issue since then, which I couldn't solve with the latest driver release :
If I do set the Audiophile 192 sample rate to 44.1KHz in M-AUDIO Control Panel, Foobar only allows me to play 44.1KHz encoded FLAC files. Any file encoded with a different sample rate isn't played (Foobar gives an error message / pop-up and stops playback).
If I go set the Audiophile 192 sample rate to 48KHz in M-AUDIO Control Panel, then Foobar only allows me to play 48KHz encoded FLAC files. Files encoded in 44.1KHz are then giving the same error pop-up than previously with 48KHz files.
I keep thinking I'm just missing something in there, and I'm quite sure it was working before with the drivers that came with the card, but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong...
Any help would be greatly appreciated
