    Default Sputnik Sudden Death

My Sputnik stopped working last night - mid session, and is now delivering only a quiet hum/crackle. The power supply still lights-up as normal.

I've had the Sputnik since 2009 and I absolutely love it - even so, it has had very light use because I tend to use it for things that need an extra bit of magic, occasional main vocals, acoustic strings, etc - so it spends a lot of time safely in its padded box. Nevertheless, I really can't do without it!

Instructions on what I can do from the UK are a bit confusing - any suggestions for what I might try, any way to test whether it could be the tube that has gone?

    Any help gratefully received.

If you are out of warranty you can contact MTS, the authorized service center, for repair information.
