Default Cubase Artist 6.5 & Axiom 25 2nd Gen, Direct Link problems.

I just recently bought an Axiom 25 2nd gen and assumed that I could use it (Direct Link) with my Cubase Artist 6.5. Unfortunately I am getting an error message in Cubase regarding driver versioning and my direct link option never shows up.

I have installed the most recent M-Audio (Axiom 25) driver for cubase.

Is there any work around this problem or do I patiently wait for an update from M-Audio for Cubase 6.5?

Only the full version of Cubase is tested and supported, but with the files in the appropriate location, it will probably work with Cubase Artist. Check your system for a program files\steinberg\cubase 6\components folder and copy the Axiom DirectLink.dll to the Cubase artist\components folder and then launch Cubase and try configuring it.
