Petition for Mac OS X Universal drivers for Delta and Audiophile

I know this cards doesn't fit on a MAC but with extension boxes (PCIe to PCI) and other methods this cards can work on OSX but unfortunatelly we don't have drivers yet so this thread it for asking intel drivers in order to make your cards to work on intel.

I am another customer in need for universal drivers for the Delta series. I own a - now useless - audiophile 192.

Is there a reason those drivers are not compiled for intel-based macs? How hard can it be to compile a set of new .kext files? The installer and all the other stuff works on my mac. The knowledge to create universal binaries is apparently already there, half of the supporting software is universal. Only the .kext files give problems during startup: "not build for this architecture".

I do not expect any support for these drivers but i would like something to get my card working. Raw .kext files or, and this is wishfull thinking: the sourcecode for the driver so we can compile it ourselves.

Have you all learned nothing? lol, Its better to actually Buy an Apple and use it's built in audio otherwise buy all audio cards that are compatible with it... Going after PCIe to PCI expansion makes no sense m-Audio people are smart guys, you cannot expect them to be fools

M-Audio is not interested in making money, should be obvious to you all by now. Business cannot be mixed with emotions of users such as yourselves

    any solution ?

  10. +1, I've missed my Delta 66 it was a great little box, if that driver was available
sure I'd buy an adapter for PCI-E as posted above..please M-Audio, that's not
difficult for you, it's just a matter of recompile the driver code you already own!
