System:
Microsoft Windows XP Pro X64 Edition Version 2003 Service Pack 2 Computer : AMD Athlon 64 x2 Dual Core Processor 5200+ 2.61GHZ, 4.00 GB Of Ram Gigabyte m-audio driver: 5.10.0.5034 Beta I Just bought the firewire 410. I was happy to finally be able to record on my pc i built. But ran into a problem that made me very mad tried every thing to fix it. Installed a firewire card in a new pci slot. With Texas instrument chip Still has the problem which is low distorted sound. Plug in my headphones into the cue port no sound at all. I also was suggested to try taking out come out 2gb of ram it still didn't work. Can some one please help me. Thank you, J |

We will require a bit more info in order to isolate the problem. Steps to Recreate This should be a 1, 2, 3 list of what you did to produce the bug. Please start with the most basic information, e.g. “Create new session.” We need to be able to reproduce the bug here in order to fix it. Pretend you are here showing the test engineers what to do, because in a sense, that’s what you are doing. Steps to Recreate: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. etc. Other testers have reported flawless functionality using driver 5.10.00.5055v2 posted here. Please report your findings once you've installed the latest FireWire driver. |

Well my question is that i see that the drivers for windows xp64 is made in 2005 its now going into 2008. Why is that is there any new drivers out for xp64?

LOL I thought I read that somewhere before,.... didn't someone find loose wire connectors and chicken bones in their box.
