Unhappy Session Vista Problems!!!

I bought Session today at Best Buy and have tried numerous ways to get it installed on my computer. A message repeatedly pops up saying there is no compatible version. I tried downloading the driver update 1.6.3v4 but same thing happened. Here are my computers specs:
Mainboard : Wistron 30D6
Chipset : nVidia nForce 560
Processor : AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile TL-62 @ 2100 MHz
Physical Memory : 4096 MB (2 x 2048 DDR2-SDRAM )
Video Card : NVIDIA MCP67M
Hard Disk : SAMSUNG (250 GB)
DVD-Rom Drive : Slimtype DVD A DS8A1H ATA Device
Monitor Type : SAMSUNG - 14 inches
Network Card : Nvidia Corp MCP67 Ethernet
Network Card : Broadcom Corp BCM4310 USB Controller
Operating System : Windows (TM) Vista Home Premium Home Edition 6.00.6001 Service Pack 1
DirectX : Version 10.00
Windows Performance Index : 3.0

PLEASE tell me why this isnt working! Because there is a sticker on the front that says and I quote "Windows Vista Compatible" and I need to know wether or not to get my $50 back. Thank you.

Do you have Vista 32bit or 64bit? Can you post a screen shot of the error message?

Also, can you confirm that the downloaded updater you ran instead of installing from the disc was indeed v1.6.3v4 and not an earlier version of 1.6.3? (there were some technical problems with the version customers were linked to during the first weekend the update link was posted).

Also, when using the update installer, you installed the Micro USB driver first, as instructed, correct?

Follow all the instructions and resulting links at:

www.m-audio.com/sessionupdate

drivers are linked first, and the download the link at the bottom takes you to is now definitely 1.6.3v4 for all registered users.

I did what you said... and this is what came up. I don't really know what's going on.

We haven't received any other reports of problems like this with the latest 1.6.3v4 updater. Although the drivers aren't qualified, we were able to successfully install the Micro USB on Vista 32bit w/ SP1 without any errors. Are you installing the latest driver version 5.10.00.5097v3?

What is the name of the Session updater you downloaded? Is it Session_Web_1.6.3v4.exe? The only time we've seen the message you posted was with the original 1.6.3 update. What version of Session is on the DVD included with your purchase?

Actually that link you provided took me to 1.6.3 download.... so i thinks it the link. because it SAYS 1.6.3v4 but when it starts installing it says 1.6.3

I'm going to forward this information to the developer and see if we can figure out what's going on. Can you please post a screen shot of your System Information window? Click on the Start Button, then right-click on "Computer" on the right side and select properties; this page has your Windows Edition and System specs. thanks.
