I have an Audiophile 24/96.
I did a clean install of Win XP SP3, installed the .69v3 drivers off your site but the card doesn't work. I get a 'device cannot start' error in the device manager. I had to do a manual install of the driver as the card wasn't recognised. I selected M-audio/audiophile from the list. In both XP pre-SP3 and Vista the card works fine. How can I get around this? // tried ASIO but it doesn't work. Does ASIO need drivers in order to work? |

Shut down the computer and try moving the Audiophile 24/96 to a different PCI slot. Your IRQ assignments may be different after reinstalling Windows; and if the current slot is sharing an IRQ with a device such as your video card, it can cause this error.
