Hi,
Using my PC speakers (XP sp2) I played this very file http://www.vintagesynth.org/audio/nova.ram I then tried to play an mp3 from here http://www.sonicftp.com/uploaded_samples/synth/29.mp3 - no sound. I tried using winamp to play a file - no sound, sound recorder to play a wav, no sound. I've rebooted the pc - no sound. I know (from experience) that I need to reinstall the drivers, but having just updated to 5069 I somewhat resent having to do this again. Anyone know what happened. Between sound and no sound was a few mouse clicks in Firefox. So nothing changed. Barry |

Do you even see levels in the Delta Control Panel?

No, I don't. I fixed the problem by reinstalling the browser. However, its gone again. I have an MP4 file associated with Winamp. I double-clicked on that - winamp tried to play the file - and the equaliser was running indicating sound, but nothing from the speakers. I'm going to have to reinstall the driver again. I don't know if it is Winamp screwing this up. Shame 'cos I like winamp but I'm going to remove it anyway now.
