How many additional inputs do you need? You can sync the 2 cards via S/PDIF, which would give you 4 more inputs. The Delta 1010 would give you 8 more inputs.

In total i need 7 or 8 imputs to record drums properly.

Sorry if it's a dummy question but in order to connect via S/PDIF to a second Delta 66 a need a cable right? How is that cable? Is it a normal digital optical lead cable?

Thanks for the help

You need a 75ohm coaxial (RCA) digital cable. Like this one. In the Delta Control Panel, you leave the first card's clock source as the Internal Xtal, and for the second you would select the S/PDIF input; check out this FAQ.

Hi again!

I bought a Delta 1010LT to add to my Delta 66.
With a 75ohm rca i already have both cards in sync.

1 - The problem is that if i want to record 6 tracks simultaneously using 4 inputs of D66 and 2 inputs of D1010LT i only have signal in the first 2 of the Delta66.

I'm using Nuendo3 and when i creat the tracks i can only choose one of the below options:
ASIO MULTIMEDIA DRIVER STEREO IN > Left
ASIO MULTIMEDIA DRIVER STEREO IN > Right

2 - DELTA 1010LT > In Delta Control Panel i have good signal but can't receive any signal in Nuendo.
The only signal Nuendo can record are inputs 1 and 2 of Delta66.

What i'd like is to create 6 tracks and assign them to Delta's 66 and 1010lt inputs, something like:

Track 1 > Left PCM 1/2 Delta 66
Track 2 > Right PCM 1/2 Delta 66
Track 3 > Left PCM 3/4 Delta 66
Track 4 > Right PCM 3/4 Delta 66
Track 5 > Left PCM 1/2 Delta 1010LT
Track 6 > Right PCM 1/2 Delta 1010LT

Help!!!

Cheers

Do not use the ASIO Multimedia Driver. You need to use the M-Audio Delta ASIO. You may need to add the input/output busses in the VST Connections page; check out this FAQ.

So would a system running a pair of delta66/omnistudios sync'd together provide 4 mic preamps, 4 line-ins and 4 headphone outputs?

cool, it seems too good to be true! so effectively you could have 8 simultaneous mic inputs? (with 4 preamped externally of course)
