Angry Brand new Delta 66: output 1 dead

I have just opened my brand new Delta 66, installed it successfully on my PC (WinXP), hooked up my Soundcraft mixer and....

OUT 1 on the breakout box is dead!

I have conducted several fault elimination steps (swap cables, multiple plug/unplug cycles, etc. etc.) and have concluded that Out 1 is broken. Outs 2, 3 & 4 work fine, as do all the Ins. I've also tried various software applications - all with the same result. The M Audio Delta Control Panel shows channel 1 as working, but the hardware Out is dead.

I'm going to phone my dealer tomorrow, but thought I would just ask here whether I am missing something, or whether someone else has perhaps had this problem?

Thanks

It sounds like you have defective hardware, your dealer should be able to swap it out for you.
